×Pets Are Us is an innovative online pet tagging service. We are giving the traditional pet tag an upgrade which would allow the tag to hold more information other than just the owner's contact info and pet's name. Adding a contact link in your pet's tag, turns the ordinary tag into a smart tag. How is this possible? The contact link is a short readable URL that opens a contact page which contains the owner's contact information, pet information, messaging and geo-location services. What used to be an ordinary looking tag can now be a maintenance free, smart tag. Our service has the following benefits:
- You can change the contact information anytime without changing the text in the tag. This is perfect for cases when you move to a new residence or when you get a new phone number. You do not have to change your pet's tag anymore unless when you really have to.
- You can change or add pet information anytime.
- You can leave a message to the person who finds your pet, just in case the pet is lost and found by strangers.
- Hide or show your contact information. Hiding your contact info would still allow you to receive messages from whoever opens your contact link.
- Get the geographic location of the person who opens the contact link on cases when the pet is lost and found. The geographic location of the person who opens the contact is sent to the owner.
- Add your picture to make it easier for dog attendants in pet hotels to identify you.
- Easier to make digital lost and found flyers that can be easily shared in social media or via SMS/Text messaging.

‣ Privacy mode : your contact information remains hidden until you decide to declare your pet as lost or stolen. Only then does your contact information become visible to facilitate communications with the finder.
‣ Supports upload of photos for easier identification. This will also allow you to use the single URL for multiple pets.
‣ "Leave a message" feature allows the owner to leave a note to the finder.
‣ Editable address makes it possible to inform the finder where they can return the pet.‣ Supports Call, SMS, and e-mail messaging function. The buttons below only become visible when you turn-off the privacy setting.

×‣ Sign-up to the service.
‣ Get a personalized contact link. You will get a system generated contact link upon sign-up. The keyword in your contact link can be your name or pet's name
‣ Fill up the contact information. Take a picture of your pet and save it on your phone or you can upload it, too. You may need it if the pet gets lost.
‣ Engrave your contact link in the pet tag. The suggested texts are :
- Thanks for finding my pet. Please open my contact link: kontak.me/keyword
- Owner's contact info: kontak.me/keyword
Attach the tag to your pet and you are done! In case your pet gets lost, you have the option to make the messaging buttons visible or ever leave a message to the finder.
We suggest that you use your name in the keyword of the contact link and not your pet's name. In the future, if you decide to get another pet, you can use the same contact link.
But if you want to use a different contact link for each pet using the same account, you can purchase different keywords for each pet name. No need to make a separate account per pet.

ADDING THE CONTROL PANEL TO YOUR HOME SCREEN
‣ Add the Utaggit Control Panel page to your home screen for quick and easy access.
For Android devices, click the more icon in the browser (usually represented by 3 dots at the upper right corner of the browser) and select “Add to Home screen”.
For iOS devices, click the share button,
and click the “Add to Home Screen” icon.
‣ Do take note that there is no guarantee that your stuff will be returned or if a tracking log will be generated as this depends if your link will be opened from a browser by the finder. If we detect that a tracking beacon has been sent from the finder's device, there is a chance of being able to recover the lost item.
